GM In-Dash Ignition Removal Tool for IDML "Z" Keyway Ignitions
This ignition is found in many GM vechicles as well as vehicles utilizing the B106 key blank or an equivalent key blank. Now it can be easily removed without having to use an operating key to turn and depress the retainer. When no key is needed, no code is needed and you saved money! That's Killer!
The Code Killer Tool
Designed by professional automotive locksmiths, this tool is a double sided, cold rolled hardened steel device designed to exploit a tight opening between the igniton housing and the cylinder body. By accessing this opening, the tool attacks the retainer spring which holds the lock cylinder's steel retainer in place. It's designed to bend and capture the steel spring in its grasp so it becomes deformed enough to allow the retainer to fall out. Side one hosts a pointed tip with a slanted hook, and the other side has a blunt nose with a straight slot.
